I intend for this blog to be a declaration of my own Principles as a professional Technical Artist in the Games industry.

Who is this guy?

My name is Joseph Pasek, officially I am a Senior Engineer at Schell Games where I specialize in Graphics and Optimization.  I am a Technical Artist who focuses on Shaders and Graphics and has a passion for performance.

I have been working professionally with the Unity engine since early 2009.

Why not ‘colormath’?

The answer could be as simple as ‘colormath.com’ is comically expensive. The more interesting explanation is though I grew up with American English, I attended College in Canada where, in my first semester, an Instructor insisted I use the ‘correct’ spelling and forcibly injected a number of extra ‘u’ characters into my vocabulary. He was so successful, in fact, that more than a decade has past and they have yet to come out.
